Lets Discuss about the Differentiate between SCR (silicon controlled rectifier)/Thyristor and GTO (gate turn off thyristor)

SCR/Thyristor

1) The SCR stands for (silicon controlled rectifier)/Thyristor.

2) The SCR/Thyristor control only ON function.

3) The SCR/Thyristor uses only positive pulses.

4) In SCR/Thyristor there is need of bulky and costly commutation circuit, the limit it's use up to about 1kHz application.

5) The Value of latching current is comparatively less (the order of 100 to 500 mA)

6) The Reverse Voltage Blocking capability is more.

7) The turn off time can be divided into reverse recovery time and gate recovery time.

8) The gate triggering current is lower.

9) The efficiency of SCR circuit is low.

GTO

1) The GTO stands for (gate turn off thyristor)

2) The GTO control both ON and OFF function.

3) The GTO uses both negative and positive pulses.

4) In GTO the commutation circuit is not required so therefore, it can be used beyond 1kHz application.

5) The Value of latching current is much more (The order of 2 to 4 A)

6) The Reverse Voltage Blocking capability is less.

7) The turn OFF time comprises of storage time, fall time and tail time.

8) The Gate triggering current is higher.

9) The efficiency of GTO circuit is more.

Let's Discuss About Difference in between SCR/Thyristor and TRIAC

SCR/Thyristor

1) The SCR stands for Or full form is Silicon Controlled Rectifier.

2) The SCR/Thyristor has four terminal semiconductor device.

3) The SCR/Thyristor is unidirectional device.

4) The SCR/Thyristor is more reliable.

5) The SCR/Thyristor required two heat sink.

6) The SCR/Thyristor is available in large rating.

7) In SCR/Thyristor uni-junction transistor is taken in used for triggering purpose.

8) The SCR/Thyristor control D.C power.

9) In SCR/Thyristor there is only one mode of operation is possible.

10) The SCR/Thyristor can operate in only one quadrant V-I characteristics.

11) The SCR/Thyristor can be triggered by positive gate voltage only.

TRIAC

1) The TRIAC stands for triode for alternating current.

2) The TRIAC has three terminal semiconductor device.

3) The TRIAC is a bidirectional device.

4) The TRIAC is less reliable.

5) The TRIAC required only one heat sink.

6) The TRIAC available in smaller rating.

7) In TRIAC the DIAC (Diode for Alternating Current) is used for triggering.

8) The TRIAC control D.C as well as A.C power.

9) In TRIAC there is four different modes of operation is possible.

10) The TRIAC can be operate only in two quadrant V-I characteristics.

11) The TRIAC can be triggered either by the positive or negative gate voltage.

Hope you know the difference between SCR/Thyristor and TRIAC very well.

Discuss about the difference between Formal and Informal Communication

FORMAL COMMUNICATION

1) It is official Communication

2) It demands certain principal and rules

3) It is time bound, Topic bound and language bound.

4) The conversation cannot beyond stipulated time.

5) The conversation is strictly based on the relevance purpose of communication.

For an example: Rakesh send an e-mail to his manager.

INFORMAL COMMUNICATION

1) It is generally friendly Communication.

2) It does not follow any rules and principles.

3) It is not time bound, Topic bound, and language bound.

4) The Communication can take place for long period of time.

5) It is more casual and general in nature.

For an example : Three friends are chatting about cinema.

Explain the Communication Cycle in detain with Example in simple way !!!

The Communication Cycle consists of following elements :

1) Sender

2) Receiver

3) Message

4) Feedback

1) Sender : A person who transfer his ideas, thought, information, Feelings, to the other person is known as sender.

Example. i) The teacher teaching English chapter in the class.

ii) Ramesh demanding sevpuri from his mother.

2) Receiver : The person who accepts the message from the sender is called as or known as receiver.

For an example. i) Father is giving money to Rohan.

ii) Sohan listen speech on the independence day.

3) Message : The thoughts and ideas exist in the mind of the sender in the form of instructions, feelings, knowledge, information.

Than the sender organize this thoughts and ideas in the proper format to be transfer to the receiver is called as message.

For an example. i) Rahul is asking maths notebook to Naresh.

ii) Sita demanding apple from his mother.

4) Feedback : The feedback is the most important and final link of the communication. If feedback is not there than communication cycle will not complete.

It is the most important factor in the communication cycle.

For an example. i) The teacher is asking question to Amit.

ii) Meets is asking for red pen to the father. {If father have pen than they will give it to her}.

If sinθ = 7/25, find the values of cosθ and tanθ || Trigonometry sum || by SCIENTECHPLUS

Watch in this above given video, you know the complete solved sum easily.

If sinθ = 7/25, find the values of cosθ & tanθ ?

Ans :  By using formula - sin2θ + cos2θ = 1
cos2θ = 1 - sin2θ
cos2θ = 1 - (7/25)2
cos2θ = 1 - (49/625)

By using L.C.M (Least Common Multiple)

cos2θ = (625/652) - (49/625)
cos2θ = (625-49)/625
cos2θ = 576/625

Here we get cos2θ but we want cosθ value, so therefore
we want cos2θ to cosθ, for that this square on the cos2θ goes on the Right side of the = sign and become square root.

cosθ = √(576/625)

Therefore   cosθ = 24/25

But we have to also, find the tanθ by using formula tanθ = sinθ/cosθ

So in the given formula, put the value of sinθ and cosθ.

tanθ = (7/25)/(24/25)

So the value of tanθ = 7/24
