Tips for reducing eye strain from computer use

Computer eye strain, also known as CVS, is a common problem that can affect anyone who spends a lot of time looking at a computer screen. It is caused by the constant focusing and blinking required to use a computer screen.

The symptoms of CVS can vary from person to person, but they often include tired, dry, or burning eyes; blurred vision; headaches; and neck pain.


There are a number of things you can do to prevent computer eye strain. Here are some tips


Adjust your monitor

Make sure your monitor is at eye level or slightly below. You should also keep your monitor about an arm's length away from you. This will help you avoid having to squint or crane your neck to see the screen.


Take breaks

Looking at a computer screen for long periods of time can put a strain on your eyes. To help reduce eye strain, it is important to take breaks from the computer every 20 minutes. The 20-20-20 rule is a simple way to remember to take breaks. The rule states that you should look away from your computer for 20 seconds, focus on something 20 feet away, and blink 20 times.


Use proper lighting

The lighting in your work area can have a big impact on your eye strain. To reduce eye strain, make sure the lighting is indirect and diffused. This means that the light should be coming from multiple sources and not directly from above or behind you. Avoid placing your monitor in front of a window or other bright light source. This can cause glare on your monitor, which can make your eyes tired. If you have to place your monitor in front of a window, you can use blinds or curtains to block the light.


Blink regularly

Blinking is a simple act that we often take for granted. But did you know that blinking is essential for good eye health? When you blink, you spread tears evenly across your eyes, which helps to keep them moist and comfortable. If you spend a lot of time staring at a screen, you know how annoying glare can be. It can make the text on your screen difficult to read, and it can even cause eye strain. A screen filter can help to reduce glare and make the text on your screen easier to read. It can also help to protect your eyes from harmful blue light.

Hamein haftein mein ek baar toh baahar ghumane jarur jaanaa chahiye

Bhaag dauda ki iss zindagi mein hum bahut busy rehtein hai. Roj apne-apne kaam ko sambhalne mein lage hua hai, kya kare yeh sab toh hamein sambhaalna hi hoga nahi toh hamaari zindagi kaise chalegi. Hum kabhi-kabhi iss zindagi se bahut hi pareshaan ho jaate hai, yeh sab hamaari roj ke thakaan aur din-bhar ki tension ke wajase hota hai. Kya hum kuch kar nahi sakte iss thakaan aur din-bhar ke tension ko kam karne ke liye. Toh chaliye hum jaante hai ki iss thakaan aur tension ko kaise kam kiya jaaye.

Hamein haftein mein ek baar apne-aap ke liye jarur kuch time dena chahiye. Kuch time dena ka matlab yeh hai ki hamein haftein mein ek baar kisi ek adventurous jagahh par jarur jaana chahiye. Jab hum aisi kisi adventurous jagahh par jaayenge toh hamein bahut achha mehsus hoga. Hamein aisa lagega ki chalo aaj kuch nayaa aur kuch alag sikhane aur dekhane ko milega. Mera kehne ka matlab yeh ki hamein uss jagahh par jaanaa chaahiye jahaa pahaad ho, jahaa nadiyaa ho, jahaa paani ke jharne ho, jahaa khuli jagahh ho, kuch aisa jagahh jahaa par aas-pass koi ghar na ho.

Jab aise jagahho par hum ghumne ke liye jaayenge toh hum apne-aap ko bahut hi halka mehsus karenge. Hamein aisaa lagega ki humaare sar par se bahut hi badaa bojha utar gayaa hai. Uss jagahh ki khuli hawaaye jab hum apne andar lenge toh hamaare shareer ka oxygen level badhega, aur hum apne-aap ko bahut aaraam feel karenge. Aisa jagahh aapko bahut hi jyaadaa gaon ke side mein hi dekhane ko milega. 

Chaliye mein apne baare mein bataataa hun, mein mumbai mein lagbhag 5 saal ho gaye hai, lekin mai aapko sab kya bataau ab tak gaon nahi gayaa. Mujhe bahut mann hota ki iss saal gaon chalaa jaau lekin kya karu padhaai ke wajase gaon nahi ja paata hun. Aap sab soch rahe honge ki aise kaise nahi gaon jaa saktaa hun. Actually mein jab 9th standard pass hua tab meine apne ssc board ke liye tayeyaari shuru kar diya, iss wajase mai uss saal gaon nahi jaa sakaa. Aur jab mai ssc pass hua tab fyjc ka online form bharna padaa phir iss ke liye tayeyaari shuru kar diya, jaise hi fyjc pass hua toh meraa 12th ka tension sar pe aa gayaa. Phir kya 12 pass hone ke baad 3 saal abhi polytechnic course kar rahaa hun aur soch lijiye ab tak mai gaon nahi gayaa.

Yehi experience aap sab se share karnaa chahataa tha, ki aap bhi meri tarahh apne khush bhari zindagi ko yu hi jaane na dein iss din-bhar ki zindagi mein se zara sa time nikaal kar kahi adventurous jagahho par jaakar aayein. Isse aapko junun aur kaam kar ka motivation level boost ho jaayega. Aap sabhi ko mai yehi kehna chahunga, ki aap sab mere jaise galti naa kare kyun mujhe koi idea nahi tha ki adventurous jagahh ghumne se kitna achha mehsus hota hai.

Hamein apne kaam ke saath-saath apne swaasth ka bhi khayal rakhanaa chahiye. Kyun maine bahut laapar waahi ki hai, aur baad mein mujhe pachataanaa pada rahaa hai. Aaj ke iss modern city mein agar hum apne-aapka swaasth ka khayaal nahi rakhenge toh barut hamein problem ko face karna pada sakta hai. Aap sab toh jaise jaante hi honge iss samy mein aaj kal kitne naye-naye bimaariyaa aarahein hai. Iss liye aapne aapko sambhaal kar rakhiye, baaki kaam baad mein sabse pehle apne-aap ke liye samay nikalne se aap ko kabhi-bhi tension, thakaan jaise problem kabhi nahi aayega.
